A little thought came to me while watching a jack russell run frantically back and forth, partially up one wall, bouncing off and racing over to the opposite wall, repeated over and over. Life feels that way at times, and for all the frenetic energy being used, where have we gone? Pull it back even further, what are we doing — why? What are we gaining from all the habitual rituals — at the end of the race, where have we gone?
I wonder, is “it” all a distraction, to avoid looking within for the truth of who we are?
