6 Fav Discount Wine Sellers

Although shipping can be an issue (cost, state laws, signature requirements), there’s no denying the growing popularity of buying wine online. You can of course buy wine online from all types of purveyors, from the wineries themselves to online wine stores and clubs. But, we love deals, so we’ve researched online discount wine sellers. We’ve found some fun ways online to get wine discounts and purchase wonderful wines online at close-out prices.

Discount wine sellers typically buy excess inventory (labeled or unlabeled), close outs, odd lots, sometimes collections. Here are reviews of the sites we frequent, each with a different twist (some with links to free credits to get started!)

Our 6 “Go To” Discount Wine Sellers

CamX Wine

Our current fav on our discount wine sellers list is CamX wine – Cameron Hughes is back, again! Prefer mega value to pricey label? We featured Cameron’s wine futures business, DeNegoce, previously. He sold that venture to Martin Wray winery, and, as of July 2025 has a new label, CamX Wine. Same niche, different palates behind the offerings, all excellent product at huge discounts if you’re not label conscious. Read our CamX Wine review, and, there’s a $25 off coupon for your first purchase!

 Vivino

We don’t have a referral credit for them, but Vivino is also an awesome source for discount wine sellers. Vivino has relationships with maybe hundreds of independent wine dealers, who offer huge discounts through this consolidator. It’s also a great resource for getting “real people” reviews of wine – many people use the platform to record personal notes on their purchases, and we find these ratings more valuable than those of the experts. They also have a shipping program – $4.99/month and you get free shipping on any quantity of wine.

Last Bottle

Last Bottle purchases close-out inventories, and sells them in daily “flash sales.” Often considered one of the best flash sale sites for wine discounts, we gave them a try. Bottom line, we’re pretty enthusiastic! (and if you are, too, we’ve got a referral link at the bottom of the page for $10 off your first order! Even better, once you’ve ordered, you can refer your friends – they get $10, you’ll get a $30 credit!)

De Negoce

Cameron Hughes second venture in private label wines, launched in 2020, and sold to Martin Ray Winery in 2023.  De Negoce still uses industry connections to buy the highest quality, surplus wines, predominantly from Napa and Sonoma, and offers them direct to consumer for a fraction of the price it would be offered at the winery. The catch is, you have to trust them, they can’t disclose the source of the wine – you only get a general description of where it comes from. We are customers of both De Negoce  and CamX Wine, and love them both! DeNegoce also has a $25 coupon off a minimum $99 purchase for new customers, link included in our review.

Wine.com

Wine.com  is one of the biggest online wine sellers, period, and is a favorite for wine afficionados because of their huge selection and reasonable pricing.  What sets them apart for us is their “StewardShip” program – $59 annual fee gives you free shipping, on any size purchase, even single bottles! Perfect for gift giving or exploring new wine options on your own! Read our Wine.com review, and if you’re interested, you can use our referral link for a $30 credit on your first purchase! We also have a mini-review of their personalized wine shopping experience, Picked by Wine.com

WTSO

WTSO.com stands for Wines Till Sold Out, one of the earliest and maybe the largest “flash sale” site.  This discount wine seller offers an extensive selection of discounted wines, again, available until their inventory is sold out. We find their inventory is often times a higher end product (although we’re “value” people, we sometimes splurge), but we’ve been very happy with our purchases

Where is Underground Cellar on the Discount Wine Sellers list?

Update October 2025 – THEY’RE BACK! Underground Cellar has been resurrected by a new entity, and is “courageously” continuing under the same branding!. You can read the saga of the original Underground Cellar bankruptcy in our initial review, and, the revival story in our most recent post, and yes, Underground Cellar is back in business, this time under new, experienced ownership. Same concept – buy into a collection of wines priced from affordable to collectors only at the affordable bottle price, and see what upgrades you may get!  A fun program for those who are adventurous, and new, with a couple new tweaks and solid ownership, the new Underground Cellar should be back on solid footing. Read more here – Is Underground Cellar Back in Business? (and there’s a $50 referral credit if you’re interested in giving them a try!)
