Dad’s ring…

I love the work in A Course in Miracles – it merely requires that you accept the Truth (that everything you think and believe is an error) and trust in the Holy Spirit to lead you back. (It’s broken down into daily lessons and practices – highly recommended for anyone who feels a deep calling to know the Truth. Available free online and there are apps, too!)

Reinforcing will help me build trust, so, here we go!

12/29/18 – arrived in Phoenix, and my dad was really upset – he’d lost his grandfather’s wedding ring from his finger, which he keeps as a remembrance. I believe in saints and angels as messengers from God, and I asked St. Anthony, whom I’ve been told is helpful in finding lost items, to help us find dad’s ring. With the prayer in my heart, a picture and feeling of being able to tell my dad, “look, here it is,” and the expectation my prayer would be answered, we started rummaging in logical and not so logical places. In less than 15 minutes, we found it, and I got to experience the “look, here it is,” with my dad (and tell him the story of my process. Thank you for the miracle, Saint Anthony, thank you for lighting my heart with love and compassion!
